2025 MAZDA CX-70 vs. 2024 MAZDA CX-90

There are more Mazda SUVs to choose from than ever here at Paretti Mazda, and we’re getting ready to welcome another to our lot in the coming months. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 is almost here, so now’s a great time to see how it compares to one of our other new additions, the 2024 Mazda CX-90.

Interior and Seating

Both of these SUVs offer well-appointed interiors with plenty of customization options and high-class details. However, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 is a two-row SUV like most of the models in our lineup. It will seat up to five people comfortably and has a positively cavernous cargo area even with the second row in use (there’s a little more than 40 cubic feet back there).

The 2024 Mazda CX-90 is larger, with three rows of seating and room for up to eight people, depending on which options you choose when designing the interior of this model. You can select a second-row bench seat or captain’s chairs and opt for extras like a second-row center console.

Hybrid Engines

The 2025 Mazda CX-70 will offer two hybrid engine options. One is just a mild hybrid, but it will help you save some money on gasoline. The other option is a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which can be plugged in to be recharged or used to travel solely on electric power for short distances.

The 2024 Mazda CX-90 has a traditional gasoline powertrain that produces up to 280 horsepower, but you can also go green when you get behind the wheel of this new SUV. A plug-in hybrid version with an all-electric driving range of up to 26 miles* is also available.
