For years, you’ve been visiting our showroom and trusting us to help you with all your car-buying and auto-servicing needs. So, as a way of saying thank you, we have teamed up with Safe Harbor to sponsor their Real Superheroes of Safe Harbor gala.
We know that this event, and the organization as a whole, does a lot of good for this area, and we’re excited to be a part of it. Read on to learn more about the gala, as well as Safe Harbor, and how you can join us in contributing to the cause.
Safe Harbor is a non-profit government agency located in St. Tammany Parish. They assist survivors of domestic abuse, along with their children, in finding legal advocacy, getting a job, and securing a new place to live. Their professional staff is available 24 hours a day and all services are completely confidential and free, with no income eligibility requirements.
In order to provide these life-altering services, Safe Harbor relies on grants and donations. Our dealership believes in their mission to better the lives of those in our community. That is why we’re proudly offering them our sponsorship through the Real Superheroes of Safe Harbor gala.
For the past eight years, Safe Harbor has been hosting an annual event to help raise funds for their services known as the “Real Men of St. Tammany” gala. However, this year, in an effort to expand this event, they are rebranding it as the “Real Superheroes of Safe Harbor” gala. This superhero-themed party is open to all and is now a friendly and fun-spirited fundraising competition.
“Superheroes” will compete against each other to increase domestic abuse awareness and education through financial support. The competitor who has raised the most funds will earn the title of Real Superhero of the Year.
At the gala, there will be music by The New Orleans Mystics and a performance by the Pussyfooters marching group. So, come spend the evening enjoying live entertainment, a catered dinner, open bar, and lots of dancing and mingling. There will also be silent and live auctions with exclusive items like sports memorabilia.
Round up your Super Suit and get ready for an electrifying and educational evening of exciting activities and heart-warming speeches. Paretti Mazda is so honored to join in on the fun while helping support an amazing cause that betters the Metairie, Harvey, and New Orleans areas.
