Driving on a spare tire? Filling up your tires with air frequently? You may need new tires, and our service center team at Paretti Mazda is here to help! We’re a full-service Mazda service center proudly assisting drivers in the Metairie, Harvey, and New Orleans, LA, areas with all their automotive and Mazda tire needs—and we’re excited to assist you as well.

Stop by our Mazda tire center to have your vehicle inspected by one of our certified technicians. We’ll take the time to inspect your tires and their current condition and recommend the best course of action.
Smaller damage can easily and quickly be repaired with a patch job, but if needed, we can also give your vehicle brand-new tires as well. Our tire experts will also recommend the best tires for your specific make and model. For example, a Mazda3 armed with front-wheel drive will need very different tires than a Mazda SUV equipped with all-wheel drive.
We also perform routine tire services, like rotations, alignments, and balancing, to help keep your vehicle’s wheels in great condition so they can last longer on the open road.

It’s recommended you change your vehicle’s tires roughly every 40,000 miles. However, the following are clear signs you may need new tires right away:
Your car tires are crafted with ridges to provide extra grip on low-traction surfaces. Therefore, if you notice your car tires seem worn down or are even “bald,” it’s time to replace them so control is not lost on the ever-changing roads.
When inspecting your car’s tires, you should also look for any noticeable damage. Smaller cracks in the sidewalls can eventually spread and lead to greater damage, so it’s best to have the tire replaced right away to avoid an unexpected flat tire.
Also, be sure to do a visual inspection of your tires for signs of wear. If you notice one side is more worn down than the other, your vehicle may need a tire rotation or new tires.
One of the best ways to check if the tread on your tires has worn down is the penny test. Take a penny and place it head down into the treads of your tires. If you can see Lincoln’s head, then this is a clear sign your vehicle’s tire tread is too low and it’s time for new tires.
If your car needs new tires, then stop by the service center at Paretti Mazda today. We’re also a complete Mazda body shop, so we can assist you with any other routine maintenance or major repairs your vehicle may need over the years.
